Down or Synthetic?
Both filling materials offer various advantages. Down, a natural product, is light, warm and extremely compressible for easy packing. If cared for correctly, a down sleeping bag is very durable. However, the down loses its insulating effect when wet. Synthetic fiber sleeping bags provide effective warmth even when wet. They dry faster, are easy to care for and non-allergenic. In terms of temperature range, our down and synthetic sleeping bags offer equivalent performance.
